There’s still time to enter our search for the Ultimate Track Car

What does the ultimate track car look like? We’ll soon find out, as the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge Presented by Grassroots Motorsports–our annual search for the fastest track machine on four wheels–takes place in less than 20 days.

And our entry list has virtually every kind of track car you could imagine, including a 1200-horsepower Camaro that climbed Pikes Peak, a Miata powered by a 500-horsepower Ford EcoBoost engine and a 1000-horsepower Tesla that’s a veteran One Lap of America competitor. But the list is missing one thing: your track car.

Too late to enter? Nonsense. As long as both car and driver can pass a safety inspection, enter today.

Our Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge takes place at Eagles Canyon Raceway, in Decatur, Texas, on October 22.

Better still, we’ll also be sharing the track with the ultra-fast cars of the Tire Rack SCCA Time Attack National Championship.

The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is presented by Grassroots Motorsports in association with Wilwood, Vitour Tire, CRC Industries, Red Line Oil and Racetech, with trophies from BimmerWorld, American Muscle, Falken Tire, Vbox Motorsport, Vorshag Motorsports, Nine Lives Racing, Cobalt Racing Brakes and Deatschwerks.
