Sometimes the best track car is the one that delivers the most enjoyment. And for Jerome Cahuzac, that car is a BMW M2.
Currently set up to compete in SCCA Time Trials Tuner 1 and Gridlife Street GT, the M2 features a handful of modifications that includes M Performance coil-overs, M Performance exhaust, a Performance Eurowerks stage 2 tune, AP Racing front brakes, CSF intercooler, CSF engine oil cooler and a more track-focused wheel alignment.
While the M2 “might not be the most competitive in its class,” says Jerome, “it puts a ton of smiles on my face!” And, in the end, isn’t that what really counts?
Jerome and the BMW M2 are one of the latest entries confirmed to compete in the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge Presented by Grassroots Motorsports, our annual search for the fastest track machine on four wheels, September 18-21 at Pitt Race.
Any car and driver that can pass a safety inspection is eligible to compete, so if you meet those requirements, enter your car today. Curious what you’ll be competing against? See for yourself.
The 2025 UTCC will once again be held alongside the SCCA Time Trials Nationals.
The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is presented by Grassroots Motorsports and fueled by Sunoco, in association with Wilwood, Vitour Tire, CRC Industries, Vbox Motorsport and Red Line Oil, with trophies from BimmerWorld, Nine Lives Racing and Falken Tire.
